What do you think of when you hear the words self-love? Many people often associate self-love with selfishness, or some imaginary island where people are completely carefree. What if I told you that self-love could save your life? Or enhance every area in your life? Would you believe me? Could you believe me?

Self-love gives you the opportunity to take a deep dive into the depths of your soul. It is the base of self-care and awareness. By beginning a relationship with yourself and loving the parts of you that you may believe to be unlovable, you will find healing. It is where you begin to understand who you are and what your purpose is.

For a lot of people this is a journey that they go in and out of over their lifetime. But when you’re engaged in this journey, with the intent to grow and learn more about yourself, you will unlock the power to change your life. Some people are not sure where to start, but with guidance you can begin to reach for the best version of you.

What if I stood behind you and gently put my right hand on your left shoulder, and told you that you were Perfect. Beautiful. Just the way you are? What if I told you that even though you are perfect, you have infinite potential for growth? And that the tools for pursuing and achieving that growth rest within you, at this very moment.

What if you honored your failures, shortcomings, deficiencies? Remember, you are perfect. What if you saw your failures as your best teachers? Your shortcomings as your challenges, motivation, aim? Your deficiencies as your uniqueness?

Only when you genuinely love yourself, can you truly love others.
